I was so saddened to hear the passing of such a dear curling, camping & fishing friend! How I remember her fondly!!! From never cleaning her curling rocks before throwing them to playing the spoons during Happy Hour out at the lake - she was such a hoot!! My condolences to all her family & friends. YOU WILL BE MISSED DEAREST BETTY

our prayers and thoughts are with the family. The Boosters lived behind us , there was always a wave when we were in our backyards. I worked with Betty at the hospital, she was always there to lend a helping hand. She will be missed by all

When our oldest daughter went missing at the lake, Mrs Bosters was right over to help. She watched the youngest who was napping so I could go knocking on doors. I always appreciated that.

She was the best aunt ever; really the only one that Hetty and I had. I loved her so much. I loved her ice blue eyes... and her eyebrows. I loved her wicked sense of humour and her ability to laugh at herself. I loved her nasi ballen and the fact that she taught us all how to make them. I loved that she could go fishing for an entire day and not get bored. She loved nature and the birds and animals around her. Her relationship with my mother was special. I don't think we fully understood what they shared but it was a joy to see them together. Most of all, she loved her family above all else. She wasn't perfect though because she could be so stubborn. I wonder where that family trait came from. Deb sees her mum dancing with her dad now. For me I want her to be sitting peacefully with my mum on the dock at Paint Lake with fishing rods in their hands, sharing stories and laughter between them. I'm sorry that I can't be with you now but I will always have a special place in my heart for her. Love Elly.
