Mary Bloomfield
August 1, 1932 – March 6, 2021
It is with heartfelt sorrow that our dearest and loving Mother Mary Bloomfield peacefully passed away in her home on Saturday March 6, 2021; surrounded by family. Loving wife of the late William Gordon Bloomfield (2014).
She leaves behind eleven children who deeply loved and cherished her and will forever remain in our hearts; Amelia, Lorna (Frank), Leonard, Gladys (Brian), Ronnie, Carl, June (Ben), Brian (Emelyn), Cindy (Dale), Wayne, and Edward (Eileen). She also sadly leaves behind her large clan of 29 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and their families. With broken hearts, she will be missed dearly by her sister Ernestine Toews (Mike), brothers Alex McCallum (Maggie) and Singadore McCallum.
Mary loved, cared and shared a part of her life with family, friends and others. She always opened her home with open arms to anyone who came by to visit. Her smile and laughter could be heard far and wide. Her optimism and positive outlook on life never waivered. She prayed daily to the dear Lord for everyone's safety, even during her last days of her life.
Our mother was selfless and put everyone’s needs before her own. She was truly one of a kind and gave herself to anyone who was lucky enough to know her. She taught us the value of life and made sure we had well cared for during her life. She will always be remembered in our hearts and minds.
